UPSC IAS परीक्षा क्या है?
- IAS (भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा) को पहले इंपीरियल सिविल सर्विस (ICS) के रूप में जाना जाता था, यह सिविल सेवा परीक्षा है और भारत में सबसे कठिन प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं में से एक है। यह अखिल भारतीय प्रशासनिक सिविल सेवा के लिए अधिकारियों की भर्ती के लिए संघ लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा आयोजित किया जाता है।

IAS Prelims Exam Pattern
- Each question in General Studies (GS) paper carries 2 marks.
- Each question in Civil Service Aptitude Test paper carries 2.5 marks.
- For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
- If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct and the penalty will be the same as mentioned above for that question.
- If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
- Candidates will have to score a minimum of 33 % to qualify for the exam.
- Duration of Prelims: 2 hours (Each paper) Mains: 3hours (Each paper)
